python-unittest2 software package provides backport of the enhanced unittest testing framework in Python 2.7, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-unittest2
python-unittest2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-unittest2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-unittest2 *
You will get with python-unittest2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
